GOD WILL CARRY YOU: This sounds extremely assuring and comforting, because it's a promise rather than a conditional assertion. At many points in our lives, we will need to hear words like this, particularly when we are struggling to stay strong in the face of adversity. Life will definitely throw us off balance, as the Israelites suffered while traveling through the wilderness on their way to the Promised Land. Egypt was more luxurious to them, compared to the torments they experienced in the wilderness which were strange to them. Imagine finding yourself in a place where there was no water to drink at all. Yes, it was that bad.

Exodus 17:3; And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?

They troubled Moses so much and showed him shege, and they did not stop there- They even said evil things about God.

Psalm 78:17: And they sinned yet more against him By provoking the most High in the wilderness

It was a very terrible situation. I tell you, you definitely don't want to find yourself in one, not even in your dreams. The Israelites found themselves in a prolonged state of distress. Yet even in the midst of all these, God was there, taking the center stage and proving himself to be faithful time after time. They witnessed the manifestation of God's love in spite of it all. He did not leave them for once. No wonder Jesus Christ said in Matthew 28:20b that: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. He did not start to be with his own from that time, he has always been with them even before his reincarnation.

Maybe you are in your wilderness phase right now and day by day, you are gradually losing your patience. You know, it would be better if you have at least opened up to someone but you prefer to exist in your own world, alone. There's a tweet that is flying on social media about people existing only if you want them to, and it's sad that this is the reality of many people. You lock everyone out and suffer in silence. You are suffering and smiling. Well, at least talk to Jesus. Release yourself to him and pour out your mind to him. You can deceive men, you may be going through difficulty yet still look like you're having the greatest time of your life. But you can't pretend for God, no matter how hard you try.

Funny enough, your salvation story is enough for you to understand that God has your best interest at heart and He will shield you at any cost. Or how do you explain God leaving his throne in heaven just to come to earth to be equal with man; but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Philippians 2:7 KJV

This means that he had to also suffer like man, just for our salvation. Mannn! Only someone that cares so much about you will do this for you.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 KJV

So why don't you just trust him?

God will carry you, he will bear you up in His arms and you will not dash your foot against a stone. Listen, trust and obey; that is all you have to do, and by the help of the Holy Spirit, you can. Nothing in God's word will make sense to you if the spirit of God does not open up its meaning to you. Release yourself to God, and allow him to carry you because He wants to.
