Not being able to accept the fact that humans are different from each other majorly because of their background is a conflict point where bible doctrines and human doctrines meet. A person believes one thing but when weighed(compared) with the bible, it is completely unacceptable to God although it appears to be correct by human moral standards.

A person’s past live experiences and upbringing (background) is a major contributing factor to how such a person views life. When you give your life to Jesus Christ, you begin to unlearn and relearn. Instead of this, sometimes you want to live your Christian life such that you begin to rationalize bible doctrines to suit your own set of belief system.

How do I live according to Bible doctrine? You ask.

By internalizing the word of God. When you feed well on the word and it is deeply rooted in you, the holy spirit will keep bringing it to your remembrance just when you need it.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Josh.1:8.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom.12:2.

The scriptures above are a major pointers to the fact that God wants you to live according to His will. Conformity to the world is not all about sinning but living against the will of God. Apart from living to fulfill purpose, living according to Bible doctrine is an important way to please God.

The one thing you need to learn today is total dependence on the Holy Spirit to teach you how to live your life such that it will be in total compliance to the way God intends it to be lived.

Your previous training must not interfere with what your current lifestyle should be like. That is, what you used to know to be right or wrong before you met Christ must not be what you live by but your new found truth in the word of God.

Know God by reading His word.
