It is very easy to feel different when you look inward. You just know you are different. The way you think and your general response to life shows how different you are. Okay, you will get my point soon. Most profound scientist we know today such as Albert Einstein, John Dalton and many others were great thinkers. They thought differently and that made a very big difference for them. In fact, do you know that some of the greatest geniuses were tagged weird because their thought process was just completely different from their contemporaries?

Without wasting any more time on thoughts, differences, weirdness and all the profound scientist the world has seen. Let us talk a little about you. It is important to remind you about your uniqueness. Just as not two persons can have the same DNA, you are very different from someone else.

The interesting thing is that there can only be one of you. Your face, voice, laugh, smile etc. is just uniquely your own. The question is why is it so? God has sovereignly made it so because He is a God of variety. He celebrates differences.

Living on the earth would have been completely boring if almost 8 billion persons look exactly like each other. There would be chaos, mistaken identity etc. But God has not made it so.

We are made different from each other simply because we are meant to serve different purposes. Your gender, face, height, skin color etc. is given you because that is what you need to serve the purpose that God has specially built you for.

I find it disturbing when someone is trying to function exact same way his friend is functioning. You don’t have to copy someone just to be like them, however, you can complement your strength with theirs for you to have better results. Celebrate your differences henceforth because it is in finding it out that you can actually have an edge in life.

Read 1 Corinthians 12: 12-27

If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 1 Corinthians 12:17-18.

This is the take home question; if you refuse to do your uniquely given function as a member of the body, who will do it?

I really need you to understand that there are divine deposits in you, gifts, callings, graces that God has embedded in you. Don’t waste away by trying to become something else or someone else. Becoming what God wants and who He has made you should be a priority because believe me, the are some things that it is only you that can make them happen.

Do not disappoint God again.

I hope you have learned something new from here today. Always check back for new updates.
