The ability to know what you actually want in all situations partly shows that you have a sense of direction. A continuous movement in a particular direction is with the intention of getting to a targeted destination.

This same principle is what we apply to all other fields in life. Just as you start learning from pre-school, you are probably grown-up now with so many certificates, yet, still working on getting an extra certification to grow your carrier. Learning is taking conscious and continuous steps in the right direction towards a destination, established in a carrier.

However, is it not surprising that when you think you are actually on the right track and everything has so far being falling in place for you, you sometimes feel you are running another person’s race? That feeling is real! That may be a signal from God.

This is a time to check if you have actually set out on the right direction.

Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards. Ish.36:17.

Look, what the devil hates is seeing you do what you are actually supposed to be doing. The devil will always come with alternatives. He wants to hold you captive by offering you an alternative to God’s original plan for you (as in the scripture above).

This is just so crazy, Satan would not mind giving you what looks exactly like your own so far he can take what is actually yours from you.

The essence of finding out God’s original plan for you is so that you would not have wasted your life after investing so much time and energy running another man’s race.

Listen, don’t become a public speaker if in reality you’re supposed to be a pastor. Don’t make yourself a pastor when you should have been a successful business man or woman.

Seek out who you are supposed to be so you will not fulfill the devil’s alternative.
