Deception is a terrible weapon the devil uses. The devil uses deception because he knows you are too brilliant for him to confront you on the grounds of the knowledge you already possess. Therefore, he launches his attacks from the premise of your ignorance. The Bible tells us that, “my people are destroyed because of lack of
knowledge”. Not because the devil is so powerful that you need some extra
spiritual gymnastics to defeat him. What you are lacking is knowledge.Jesus gave us the victory over death.
Death, (the grim reaper) has no power over a believer
except if you foolishly placed your life in his hands e.g. by your mouth.
However, there are a lot more people out there (unbelievers) who are yet to be
born-again and are vulnerable to the attacks of the devil.
Here is your take home truth (knowledge) today. You have
the power and authority to save those that are yet to be born-again. You can
save them by giving them the gospel of Jesus Christ, to give them the same
authority you have over death.
However, instead of taking the gospel of Christ to the unsaved the devil deceive you by telling you someone else will do it. As innocent as this lie of the devil is, this is the very reason why there are many unbelievers in the world today.
Then
saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous but the laborers
are few. Matthew.9:37.
As at 2015, there were about 2.4 billion Christians in
the world. Imagine if each of those 2.4 billion Christians took responsibility
to lead one unbeliever each to Christ, we will have 2.4 billion more Christians
by now.
Do not give in to that deceit of the devil. If you
don’t take the gospel to the world nobody will. The laborers are indeed very
few. Would you rather add to the burden of the few faithful laborers and make
yourself a liability to the kingdom or you will man-up and step into what God
has called you to do, a kingdom harvester (a Holy Ghost reaper).
This is how we win against the grim reaper. By getting
to the harvest first.
