The Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father, the third person in trinity is one beautiful personality that you cannot survive without. Or let me say you cannot really live without. That is, it is possible for you think you are living without Him. Until you truly start living with him. A day without the Holy Spirit is like a thousand years in a zigzag path where you just follow what appears to be the right way.

Sometimes people like to leave Him out of what they do, because they think that involving Him will cause problems for them. Like when he tells you to disobey your boss and do what is right. Your mind travels fast to the days you had no food to eat because you were broke and then fear creeps in “what if I lose my job?’’ You think. That is your flesh playing on your mind. I perfectly understand you. It is not an easy thing to do. Now that is exactly why you need Him. God makes all things easy! He solves your problems.


Philippians 4:12-13: I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

You must be ready to pay the price and deliberately obey Him. Let me show you something. When you hear ‘we cannot continue in sin and say grace should abound’ what occurs to you as sin? Lying, fornication, smoking and other obvious sins? How about the not-so-obvious ones like dishonoring your parents? Or grieving the Holy Spirit? I pray for understanding for you in Jesus name. Even Jesus Christ lived with the help of the Holy Spirit, he was filled with the Spirit and led by the spirit. 

Luke 4:18b-The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. Don't you ever think that speaking in tongues is the only thing He helps you to do. No. There is so much more. He also helps you to live the Christian life.

You must understand and know how he speaks to you. Do not confirm His voice by other people’s standard. Like some people like to pacify themselves with the thought that God caused a bad event to happen to prevent a worse one from occurring. This sometimes is true. Also, Satan can cause bad things to happen to prevent God’s plan from coming to pass. Therefore, doom looms if you do not know when to fight back and when to be aggressive against the attack. Also, the word ‘spiritual attack’ does not necessarily connote witches and wizards. It can be an attack on you directly from the devil and his cohorts because you let your guard down.

In conclusion, make the Holy Spirit your best friend in actions. Of course, you can gist with Him.
