This generation is obsessed with getting rich and living a happy life. No doubt.  The standard for living gets complicated day by day. Now, there is a justification for internet fraud. Now, there is an idea that until the nipple is exposed, the breast can still be said to be covered. Suddenly, Motivational Speakers lost their value because many people think their statements are outrageous. Whereas, when you think about it really, sometimes the problem is with these people. They think they can’t achieve the things spoken of. They have unconsciously written themselves off. Do you understand me? Yes. Good. Let’s  move on.

Young people are no longer worried about going to hell. They prefer to enjoy life to the fullest and gladly accept what comes after. Which is why the message of the Kingdom should not cease from your lips. “ Heaven is Real! Jesus is Coming Soon!” this should be the reigning outcry now. People need to hear this now, more than ever before.

Come to think of it, why do you want  to be rich? This is a question every young person must answer. Solomon wanted wisdom because he needed to rule properly. 2 Chronicles 1:10-Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?” . The disciples worked hard to get food to eat because they did not want to be a burden to the church, they enjoined the people to do likewise. 2 Thessalonians 3:8- nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. Hence, I  say that when riches come by accident(that is when it is not worked for), it is wasted.

Amazingly, God is interested in seeing you gather wealth the way He wants it. Jesus Christ was interested in the disciples’ toil. When He got to the river and saw them struggling to harvest fishes, He was moved with compassion and He put an end to their troubles on the spot. This is the same way He can teach you to run your business. But until you have something, there is nothing for him to touch or lay hands on. This is also seen in the story of the widow of Zarepath.1 Kings 17:16-The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah. If she had no cruse of oil, nothing would have been multiplied by the prophet.

Studying the life of Bishop David Oyedepo, I have seen that the only thing that makes a man successful in the most easy and legit way is the wisdom of God. Gotten in the place of prayer and study of the scriptures. You shouldn’t withhold anything from God but allow him to lead you on, to teach you to profit. When he does, he will tell you what book to read. The kingdom operates on certain principles. Principle of giving and receiving, principle of diligence and reward. Don’t allow the world to stop you from doing what is right. Don’t say that because first class students are not recognized, you will be an average student and just take whatever school gives you. No, that's wrong.

As a matter of fact, excellence is your right as a child of God. Posses it!

As you go about your daily living, reading, working, praying and even walking, don't forget that God can teach you to prosper if you involve him. Shalom!
