"Till
everyone around me hears the word that Jesus is coming soon." Remember
this? It's a line in the bridge led by Lawrence Oyor in Heaven by Jaymike.
This
definitely sounds like the sincere desire of every believer. You want sinners
around you to come to the knowledge of Christ. You feel pains when you see
people living in sin, because you were once like them so you can now
authoritatively tell which side is better(the side of the Father is the best).
The challenge comes when it is time for you to take practical steps to ensure
you draw men to Christ.
You want to
fulfill your purpose. Right? But do you know that if you don't win souls as a
born-again child of God, you are still far away from the absolute point of
attainment.
Philippians
1:21-For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Analyzing this passage, you see that
there was really no gain for Paul on earth. It would have been better for him to
die and go to heaven. But for the sake of Christ. He has to stay alive here on
earth. That answers the question 'why don't we just die and go to heaven
immediately we get born again?' God can make that happen. However, he has
chosen not to do so for a reason. One of which is for the purpose of harvest.
Evangelism
is not difficult. You can bring it up through a normal chat with a friend. You
can also directly inform your listener that you want to speak the good news of
Christ with him or her.
We are both
aware that the end time is near. Many weird things happen. People commit
suicide because of anger, they fall into depression because of stress. But if
they knew Christ, such things would not be as hard. Now think of the number of
lives you will save if you decide to win as many souls as you can. Not to
forget, little children need to hear the good news too.
God deliberately
allows certain things for a reason. He makes people to cross your path for a
reason. And one thing you should always seek for in the kingdom is an
Opportunity, an opportunity to serve, an opportunity to give, an opportunity to
sacrifice, an opportunity to preach. If there is no avenue for you to do this,
you may not be able to. An opportunity makes things easier. When you throw one
in the ocean, it's questionable and often times regrettable.
Talk about
Christ everywhere, every day, every time. If he is so good to you, why
shouldn't you tell the world this? There's always an opportunity to preach.
Look out for it. The world is dying and you are the only remedy. Don't waste
this!
